Start Sailing
Every Year, Galway Bay Sailing Club run sailing courses for children. These course range from the complete novice to Advanced level and Racing. Galway Bay Sailors have become sailing instructors around the world, raced at International Level and crewed on super yachts. If sailing is something you or your child would like to try then GBSC is the perfect starting point.
Evry Summer from the first week of July onwards, we run Summer camps for kids. These camps are very popular so make sure to book early. The summer camp include.

SUMMER CAMPS
Sailing Academy
Once you have completed the ISA Basic Skills programme you may wish to develop your sailing skills further. GBSC run coached sailing programmes for Optimist. RS Feva and Laser 4.7 sailors. The focus for this programme is to bring sailors to a standard where they can compete in Regattas. The Sailing Academy requires a level of commitment and you must own your own dinghy to participate. Galway Bay Sailing Club is an accredited ISA Trainiing Centre. We run a full range of ISA course from Taste of Sailing to Advance Boat Handling. For more details of each course please look at the online broshure at the bottom of the page.

SUMMER SAILING
Every Friday evening through the Summer, families can go sailing in Renville with full rescue support provided. Barbecue afterwards at the clubhouse.
