The GBSC is working to develop a set of Adult Sailing courses for both Dinghy and Keelboat formats.
These courses are an excellent way to get an introduction to sailing and our Club.

Adult Dinghy Taste of Sailing
This course is designed as an introductory course is to give you a positive introduction to sailing on a dinghy.
You will be under the guidance and supervision of a fully qualified and experienced instructor.
Objective
By the end of this course you will be able to do the following:

Reach across the wind

Stop the boat

Turn the boat through the wind (tack)

No prior experience or knowledge is required
Equipment
Buoyancy aids are provided by GBSC. Wetsuits are available but if sailors have their own wetsuits and boots, that is preferable for their comfort.
Duration:
The course is 2 full days over a single weekend
