The King of the Bay is the most prestigious of the GBSC Racing trophies, awarded to the most successful boat over a series of 7 races run throughout the sailing season. The cup is awarded under IRC handicap. Prizes sponsored by Galway Maritime for winners.

Wednesday night is sailing night. It's the only proven way to get through the mid week blues! We run multiple series, each comprising 5 or 6 races, sponsored by local businesses. Each series is scored under Echo and IRC. Echo ratings are revised at the end of each series.
