Wednesday Night Racing
April to September
Wednesday night is sailing night. It's the only proven way to get through the mid week blues! We run multiple series, each comprising 5 or 6 races, sponsored by local businesses. Each series is scored under Echo and IRC. Echo ratings are revised throughout each series.

Galway Maritime King of the Bay

The King of the Bay is the premier sailing series in Galway Bay. It comprises of 7 top tier events throughout the season. This year we invite all boats from around the bay to participate in handicap racing and white sails rally events.

Spring Cup - April 24
Morans - May 15
Barna- July 17th
Aran Cup - July 30th
Kinvara – August 13th
Ballyvaughan – Sept 10th – (Saturday)
Oyster Festival - September 24th
